Supplies Needed:
Two 8 inch cake layers baked and completely cooled
Cake Board or plate
Frosting
Food coloring
Kootek Off set spatula
Kootek Piping tips: K20, K49, K22, K23, K28, K01,etc.
Kootek Russian Piping tips: S2, S3, S5, S8, S9, S10, S20, etc.
Piping bags
Sprinkles
Candies
Enjoy your fabulous creation by sharing it with loved ones and celebrating with a big slice! You deserve it!
Two 8 inch cake layers

Place the pan bottom on 1/3 of the cake and cut the ear out using the edge of the pan to get a perfect curve. Then place the pan bottom on the opposing side of the same cake layer, doing your best to cut out two even ears. The section of cake left will be a bow tie and fit perfectly nestled into the first layer of cake.
Piping Tip used: Kootek K01.
Pro Tip: use a stiff, room temperature buttercream for the best definition and user experience with Russian Piping tips.
